How to leverage GivingTuesday’s 10th anniversary
If you haven’t designed your GivingTuesday campaign yet, it’s not too late. Even small nonprofits with limited staff and resources can participate in the global one-day generosity event.
November 30, 2021 is the 10th GivingTuesday event and will be celebrated around the world in all forms through acts of kindness. And because of that, you’ll want to create a campaign that clearly shows why someone should support your organization over (or hopefully, in addition to) others.
The GivingTuesday.org website provides a lot of great resources for building and designing your own campaign. Organizations with limited communications resources may find the Canva templates useful…easy to revise to carry your brand. Use the #Givinghttps://www.canva.com/p/givingtuesday/Tuesday hashtag in your posts, as well as one that you create to brand your campaign. Ask your staff and colleagues to use your GivingTuesday hashtag to increase engagement and visibility.
The site also features an interactive “Global Generosity Tour” map experience that will showcase stories of giving traditions, customs, and trends, as well as the day’s activities from around the world.
